Survivors' and Dependents' Educational Assistance Program -- Chapter 35

1. Complete DVA 22-5490 (Application for Survivors' and Dependents' Educational Assistance form) online.

2. Print and complete the UMD VA Enrollment Certification Request.

3. Obtain a letter of eligbility.

4. Submit a copy of letter of eligibility and the University of Maryland Request for Certification for VA Benefits form to the Veterans Certification Office.
