Open Section Look-Up

Part of Registration/Schedule Adjustment (6 # # on MARS). Up-to-date course availability information can be accessed through MARS. This service is available during your early registration appointment period and during schedule adjustment. Be ready to write down section and index numbers.

1. Press Action Code 6 # # and wait for instructions.
2. To list any open sections of a particular course press 2 followed by an Index Number (any Index Number listed for that particular course) and #.

OR

To list only open sections that fit into your schedule press 6 followed by an Index Number and #. MARS lists open sections in groups of six. The listing can be stopped at any time by pressing 9. MARS will list ALL open sections or only those that fit into your current schedule.

To begin the listing at a specific section press * after the sections index number and before pressing #.
